Choosing your intervention team may be the most important decision you ever make. It could save more than one life. It's important to gather as much information about the company you choose to guide and support you in this life-changing process. Meet us.
We at Whole Families Intervention and Holistic Recovery Services are passionate about helping families regain their lives. The founders are three women who have over 25+ continuous years in recovery. We know what's it's like to be where you are.
We’ve been where you are. Our families suffered in the wake of our addictions. We made promises we couldn't keep. We disappointed our families, friends and employers. We lost relationships, jobs, our health, and even our homes.
From an executive suffering silently in the corner office to two of us who lived on the streets and in abandoned buildings, we know about the devastating affects of drugs, alcohol and eating disorders.
Since finding recovery, we have been coaching others on their path toward health and wellbeing for over two decades. Using holistic tools, such as diet, exercise, meditation, we walk beside our clients on their journey of healing and wholeness.
How we Work
specifically, we help families re-connect with the perseverance and determination that has defined their family history. When we tap into our inherent strength and courage, we can overcome challenges that previously seemed insurmountable.
We help families reframe their language of love and support of each other. We teach a language of compassion, dignity and respect. For ourselves and others.
Join us on this journey. You deserve it. Your family deserves it.

I came into recovery through Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) in 1981, hopeless, desperate and feeling lost. Drinking from the age of 15, from the start, I was a blackout, fall-down, pee in my pants, messy drunk. Before long, I added marijuana, speed and hallucinogens to the mix. While high, I loved the feeling of being ‘outside of myself’, a short-lived sense of freedom. When I was 26 years old, I hit what I call my alcohol bottom. I still didn’t think drugs were an issue. I went to AA, recognized I was an alcoholic and attended meetings for a short period of time. I might be an alcoholic, but I thought I could handle drugs.
I managed the drugs until they were managing me. I stopped AA meetings and continued drugging with increasing escalation and destruction. After causing a significant amount of pain and suffering to myself and others, I finally understood that any addictive substance became my prison rather than the freedom I was seeking. I returned to AA; a day at a time I began to heal while my life changed. I learned in AA that I have a choice! Slowly, slowly my life became expansive and abundant from inside out. I found the true meaning of freedom.
I became a yoga/meditation teacher after three years clean & sober. I taught in women’s prisons in NYC, people recovering from cancer, rehab facilities, schools and then opened my own yoga studio. After my three daughters were born, I became a certified holistic health coach, combining my life experience with my training, to work with clients, conducting workshops, organizing and co-leading inward journey retreats. My sober journey took me to India in 2004, another life-changing experience.
After my three daughters were launched, I moved to India, offered retreats and did AA work there on a national basis.
After 6 years in India, I made the decision to return to NYC. I felt drawn to come back to the States to offer my experience, strength and hope. My dear, long-time friend and colleague, Frances, and her friend Kelly, invited me to join them in their developing idea of Whole Families Intervention and Services. With these two remarkable, wise and compassionate women, I’m honored to step into the next part of my journey, which feels authentic and purposeful.
With much gratitude and appreciation, I’m honored to walk with you on your healing journey to a brand new life.
